In bfs9000.wad, you're an armchair liberal philosopher, one of Earth's
toughest, hardened through years of Internet debates and trained for action.
Three months ago, a neo-Nazi regime seized control of your country. Every
other effort to stop the new regime has failed and it's down to you to save
the day. Grabbing a copy of a famous anti-Nazi speech, you head to Castle
Wolfenstein. Surely you'll be able to convince the Nazis of the error of their
ways?
If the speech doesn't work then you can always try punching the Nazis instead.

* The BFS9000 makes the weapon cock sound when you pick it up.
* Even if you're killed, the speech continues (the player is just really
really dedicated to trying to convince Nazis).
* It's possible for certain sounds to interrupt the speech, and then you
get stuck waiting for it to "finish". This is particularly the case in
ZDoom-based ports.
* The Icon of Sin on MAP30 no longer makes a pain sound.
* On some source ports it may not be possible to warp to MAP02-09.

Description : Short, Boom (-complevel 9), rocket-centric,
slaughter-ish, lightly-puzzle-y-but-not-much-
really speedmap I made while helping a buddy get
into mapping. We mapped for about 3.5 hours,
followed by about 30 minutes of testing and bug
fixes. I didn't finish in time, so I went back
later for another hour of work. UV will kill you
a few times; HMP is a much easier, more casual
experience.
Uses textures from Jimmy and a sky from Mech.
Midi "Boss" comes from Fester's Quest NES game.

John: An idea to effortlessly destroy all of Hell? We run a teleporter to Hell, pull them in one by one and a we fire half a dozen BFGs at what comes through? Sounds good! Can't see that going wrong!

John: I'll talk to my boss tomorrow, see if he thinks we can do it. Pass by the lab when you got the time.

Doomguy: Yeaargh!
John: Hey there, bud! I talked to my boss and I got some bad news. UAC cut our funding on Hell-related matters. Screaming something about "more rendering servers to the megatexture gods!," whatever that means.
Doomguy: Urgh...
John: Don't worry, it wasn't a flat out no. We got a pistol and a small teleporter.

Description : Tiny Boom (-complevel 9) speedmap that I made
while helping a friend get into mapping after the
last Joy of Mapping (3) session. We mapped for 3
hours, then spent another on bug fixes, touch-
ups, and cackling like hens about our nails and
the feathering of our hair. I got some feedback
and made a couple quick, minor changes... all-
in-all about 4.5 hours of work. The map takes 5
minutes or less to beat and features rocket-
centric, light-slaughter gameplay. Difficulty
settings are implemented, though admittedly HNTR
is a joke setting. Still, HMP is a much easier,
more casual experience.
Uses textures from Jimmy and a sky from Mech.
Midi "Phrygia" comes from Battle of Olympus NES
game.

Description : The Eagle Speedmapping Sessions' goal is to
make maps within a 2 (in practice 3) hour limit.
In this session, 14 maps were made, and the themes were:
- Knee-Deep in the Dead - Techbases, starbases
- The Shores of Hell - techbases warped by Hell
- Inferno - hellish environments
And a bonus theme - map must have less than 750
vertex.
Credits to : id Software for making the game we all love and play
the people who made Doom Builder 2 and XWE...
