Title : The Cursed Hangar
Filename : hangar
Release date : 2017
Author : Jonathan Dowland
Email Address :
Other Files By Author : See https://jmtd.net/doom/ and
https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Jon_Dowland
Description : This was the first level of the Freedoom project
from around 2006 to 2017. It has recently been
replaced and so I decided to make some edits and
fixes, to create a "definitive cut" version and
release it stand alone. I chose the name "The Cursed
Hangar" for this final re-issue.
The map is intended to be a play on Doom's E1M1
"The Hangar". It follows the rough layout of that
classic map, but is slightly more complex and
slightly more difficult.
The map is intended to use Boom features and so has
moving floors, modified COLORMAPs, transparent
textures, etc.
This PWAD is designed to work with Boom compatible
source ports and Ultimate Doom v1.9. There's a
DEHACKED lump that spices things up a little bit if
your port supports MBF code pointers (most do).
I've also included two SFX that my brother and I
contributed to Freedoom in the early days and which
were subsequently replaced.
Additional Credits to : TheGreenHerring and NickZ who made minor fixes and
changes to the map in Freedoom.
Joseph Dowland (dsclaw).
RjY, Voros and Catoptromancy for play-testing and fix
suggestions.
I've imported some textures from FreeDoom that I used
for the map and aren't in base Doom (they're mostly
recreations of Doom 2 patches). Thanks to the authors:
* RW22_1 - Nick Baker (NiGHTMARE)
* RW28_4 - Colin Phipps (cph)
* RW18_1 - Simon Howard (Fraggle)
* SFALL/NUKAGE1 - Sodaholic
* RW33_1 and SLIME14 - Fredrik Johansson
Special Mentions : Giancarlo Laso (Shadow1013) who "vanillafied" the map
in his "Invasion Of The Damned" PWAD:
https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom/g-i/invotdam
Wesley Johnson who made some suggested modifications
to the map which didn't get included in Freedoom (or
here).
Simon Howard, Mike Swanson, Voros and all other
Freedoom contributors for their continued efforts.
Bugs : Plenty.
QZDoom (at least version 1.2.2) doesn't render the
"muggy" underground area with the custom COLORMAP.

Title : Distorted Memories
Filename : DSTRTD2.WAD
Release date : March 11 2017
Author : Derek " Count " Pierson
Email Address : [redacted]
Description : The general idea is to loosely recreate each
episode of Doom but summed up with 2 maps per
episode. Each map tries to emulate the mapping
styles of the original doom. Also features a secret
level, which is more of its own thing, as well as a
deathmatch map (e2m1). For the best experience I
recommend playing with just the keyboard.

Misc. Author Info : Sticks to using the old "Copyright/Permissions"
clause in his textfiles.
Description : You might've heard of MDK, a wacky third-person
shooter, released by Shiny Entertainment about
20 years ago. It was a cross between the action
of Doom and humour of Earthworm Jim (made by the
same folks).
To my knowledge, MDK isn't moddable at all.
However, Csabo, the author of the infamous
XWE, added MDK support to his editor. It can't
open all of its data files, but it can cope with
the ones that contain the skies (.DTI format).
MDK's skies are stored as BMP files in 1804x360
or 904x360 resolution, but they can be converted
to the resolution and palette used by Doom and/or
its ports without too much distortion.
So... ever thought your map could use a new sky?

Description : This is a map I scrapped from a 2-episode wad I'm
working on for Chex Quest. It is my first attempt
working with the set of features ZDoom has to
offer. This level simply doesn't fit with what I'm
currently doing with the rest of the mapset both
plot-wise and gameplay-wise. There's also the fact
that due to some screwing around in SLADE 3, this
wad is now somehow permanently corrupted when
loaded in Doom Builder 2. Don't ask why. Anyway, It
was inspired by E3M1 of Chex Quest 3 and is
designed to be quite difficult. Watch out for that
ending!

Title : Hall of Blood
Filename : HOB
Release date : 6-6-2017
Author : mArt1And00m3r11339
Email Address : [redacted]
Description : Welcome to the bloody castle. Throughout the level, you will wak through the halls of blood. Credit goes to Chris Balch for the Slaughterfest 2012 thread that included the textures that I used, which include sf2012-tex, cc4-tex, GOTHICTX, q1tex, and NB_RECOL, as well as for the title screen and the intermission. This level, however, does not have a pink-lemonade BFG placed in there. Music comes from level 6 from Blood Storm, a wad designed by Serekay (credit goes to him as well). I would recommend GZDoom when playing this level.

My first map. Mostly weak weapons & monsters.
Custom monsters. Very few monsters with the
element of tightness. I guess i was influence by
Quake 4 singleplayer which means linearity and
frontal attacks. Recommend is the use of a
GLRender.

* Map Notes *
PLOT: You're traveling home by train, but suddenly there's a crash and
the train stops. You look through the window and see ugly monsters
everywhere.
At that moment, the head of the UAC calls you and explains to you that
some monsters are coming through several portals created by themselves,
and besides they have gone into a missile launch facility. What's more,
it's thought that there's a nazi army which is hidden, and taking
adavantage of the chaos, they will try to take the control!
You must try to get into some of the portals to fight the monsters in
their own world, but be careful and don't get lost in time! And if you
come across the nazi army, destroy it.
As for the missiles, a team of technicians experts in bombs will take
over.
AUTHOR'S NOTES: The map is designed to be played in a source-port that
removes the limits of the original Doom. On the other hand you should
save game every now and then, because there are some ambushes.

Base : New level from scratch.

* Notas del mapa *
Mientras tanto, mandaré a
