I was suppose to release this map into my Ultimate Doom megawad, but I decided to release this individually. Although I'm probably going to add this to my megawad either way, but that megawad is going to take me for about 10-20 years at least to make it. =========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : Update to : Advanced engine needed : GZDoom Primary purpose : Single player =========================================================================== Title : Shadows of The Nightmare Realm Filename : sotnr.pk3 Release date : 27 May 2017 Author : Alexa "YukiRaven" Jones-Gonzales Email Address : [redacted] Other Files By Author : Extreme Terror, One Doomed Marine, Kill Misc. Author Info : ***DO NOT JUMP*** ***DO NOT CROUCH*** Unbind jump and crouch before playing if you're used to using them. No rocket jumping on purpose, either. **ALWAYS LOAD LIGHTS.PK3 AND BRIGHTMAPS.PK3 ALONG WITH THIS ADDON** These files come with GZDoom. Failure to do so will result in the levels not looking right, or being unplayable due to being too dark. Mouselook is required for the last map. This is designed for -complevel 0 Please also ensure that you have dynamic lights, 3d models, and high resolution textures enabled before playing. Bloom is also recommended, but not required. Each map takes place in one of the Doomguy's dreams, so you lose all your inventory and your health is reset after each map. One last thing, if you want to change levels, you'll want to do so in the console. Type "map corax##" to go to that level; I didn't use the usual "MAP##" format for the levels. Description : Hell was defeated by a lone marine. But what no one knew was that there was a far greater and nigh inconceivable evil lurking beyond our realm: the Elder Gods. They saw how Hell had failed and felt it was now their time to succeed. They knew of the Doomguy's strength, and decided to attack him in the one place he's vulnerable: in his nightmares. Shadows of The Nightmare Realm takes place within the dreams of the Doomguy, each one manipulated by the Elder Gods. Additional Credits to : Nine Inch Heels, MrGlide, Fonze, everennui, and all the other playtesters for their invaluable time and feedback. Thank you all <3 Realm667 for their repositories. Author Info : Turned Sweet 16 some time ago, loves breaking his textures. Description : Here we go... Once upon a time, lived a 11-year old autist dwelling in the glorious realm of 4chan. One day, he was downloading Sailor Moon hentai, as usual. However, today it was different. His hard drive, which had always obediently fulfilled its master's twisted desires, suddenly, like a bolt from the blue, decided to fight. +----------+ |LOW MEMORY| +----------+ "INSUFFICIENT FREE SPACE, CAN NOT DOWNLOAD FILE free_sm_pr0n_JKitsatrojan.EXE""Ou nou wot do ai doo?", said the discouraged internet knight. Suddenly, his computer started playing some tune: "Dum dum dum dumdum dum dum dum dum dumdumdum dumdum dum dumdum dumdum dumdum" He recognized the tune. It was the track of the first level of some crappy pixelated game from 1993 his (disappointed) father likes to play, as his last refuge from the problems of having a single descendant whose vocab is limited to "YOUR MOM!". A message flashed on the screen: "Do you need help?". He managed to squeeze out a sentence from his degrading brain "jes ai doo". Then, the display of his computer started displaying a first-person view of some dude who can't even hold a gun properly. "Come on", a new message popped up, "your hard- drive depends on you!" Update to : Advanced engine needed : Primary purpose : Single+Coop play =========================================================================== Title : Seamless 2: A Fake Circle Filename : seamles2.wad Release date : 2017-06-03 Author : Zalewa Email Address : Other Files By Author : Alpha & Delta Invasion (dtinv3c.pk3), Terminator Unit-9042 (terdelux-final.wad), Tribute (tribute.wad), Raven Crypt (rvncrypt.wad), Horse Shoe (horsshoe.wad), Respawned: Back from Hell (rspnhell.wad), Power Metal (pwrmetal.wad), Cute Demon Butt Collection (cutebutt.wad), Seamless (seamless.wad) Misc. Author Info : I sometimes make WADs. Description : Seamless 2 is a Vanilla Ultimate Doom map taking slot of E1M2 that makes no use of "use" lines. The theme is "base", there are about 120 monsters and the map takes less than 10 minutes to beat. The keys are MacGuffins. The difficulty is easy, to the point where the difference between HMP and UV is marginal and relies mostly on more health & ammo pickups on HMP. Unfortunately, despite taking slot of E1M2, it cannot be played seamlessly in ZDoom ports with the first Seamless because I have foolishly inserted a MAPINFO there that prohibits it. =========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : Move to Music please, Replace previous! Advanced engine needed : None Primary purpose : No levels included =========================================================================== Title : DMXOPL v1.7 Filename : DMXOPL.ZIP Release date : June 12, 2017 Author : ConSiGno Email Address : [redacted] Misc. Author Info : OPL Goddess. Description : This is a GENMIDI patch for DMX for OPL2-OPL3 FM synthesis. This patch aims to remedy the "weak" default instruments to better match the Roland Sound Canvas, most notably the SC-55 and SC-88. Recommended minimum setup for no note-cuts is ZDoom 2.8.1 with MAME OPL2 emulator core, with 6 chips emulated. Additional Credits to : Wohlstand, Bisqwuit, Fraggle, Esselfortium, Jimmy, The Fat Man, Diode Milliampere, Patchouli, Graf Zahl, Randi, Fisk, Stewboy, Xaser, Minigunner, Altazimuth, MTrop, Quasar, Glaice, BlastFrog, Vogons Forums, AtariAge, NintendoAge, and John Chowning, the father of FM synthesis. Extra Thanks to Doomworld Forums and the IRC/DISCORD channels, Giest118, Nuke.YKT, kode54, Patch93, and Infurnus. YMF262 forever. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : None Sounds : No Music : No Graphics : No Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : GENMIDI patch Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : Doom, Raven, Strife, Adventures Of Square, Hacx Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Designed for Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Designed for Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Not implemented * Construction * Base : Stock DMX GENMIDI Build Time : About 5 years Editor(s) used : Hex Editors, OPL3 Bank Editor, Fraggle's Python scripts, Adlib Tracker II, Edlib, ADLMidi Known Bugs : Due to the number of pseudo 4-op voices, certain notes may cut sooner than they would have using the stock patches. Most of Doom and Doom 2 play just fine. Depending on your CPU, there may be skips in the sound due to buffer underrun, as this patch takes more channels than the stock GENMIDI. May Not Run With : Recent dev builds of GZDoom have broken OPL support as of this writing. Tested With : ZDoom 2.8.1, Chocolate Doom, Vanilla Doom, ADLMidi * Copyright / Permissions * This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
